Postmaster’s House

The Postmasters House, built in 1912 is now a private residence. This typical craftsman style house was the home of Powell River’s first two postmasters: Reginald Lane and Robert Banham.

At one time the rail ran through town just below the Postmaster’s House.

Mission Statement

Within the Historic Townsite of Powell River, our mission is to promote heritage education, heritage conservation and revitalization of the traditional downtown core.
